Welcome to Skill Banao
Before you dive into our courses, webinars, and mentorship programs, please take a few minutes to read through these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). We’ve tried to keep things as clear and straightforward as possible — no hidden clauses, no confusing legal maze.
https://www.skillbanao.com (“Website”) is owned and operated by M/s SKILL BANAO (hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), with its registered office at Skill Banao, 219 Mavelipuram Onam Park Zone, Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala, India
These Terms govern your use of Skill Banao’s Website, courses, webinars, learning platform, and all related services. By enrolling in a course, attending a webinar, or simply using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms along with our [Privacy Policy] and [Refund & Cancellation Policy].
These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) and are published in accordance with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
For these Terms, “you,” “your,” or “user” refers to any person who accesses, uses, or participates in the Website or Services in any manner. If you are under 18 years of age, “you” refers to your parent or legal guardian acting on your behalf.
By using our Website or Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use our platform or enrol in any of our programs.
1. What We Offer (Our Services)
Skill Banao is an EdTech platform focused on UX design education and professional growth. Here’s what we provide (together referred to as the “Services”):
- UX design courses — structured, in-depth programs covering UX research, UI design, interaction design, and more
- Cohort-based programs — time-bound, mentor-led learning experiences with a group of peers
- Webinars and workshops — short, focused sessions on specific topics, tools, or industry trends
- Mentorship and portfolio reviews — one-on-one or group sessions with industry professionals to help you refine your work and career direction
- Course materials — videos, PDFs, templates, recordings, assignments, toolkits, and other digital resources provided as part of the above programs (collectively, “Course Materials”)
We also provide access to a Learning Management System (LMS) where you can access your course content, submit assignments, and track your progress.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any of our Services, course content, or schedules at any time. We’ll do our best to notify you in advance of any major changes that affect your active enrolment.
2. Who Can Use Our Platform (Eligibility)
To use Skill Banao and enrol in our programs, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, OR
- Have verified parental or legal guardian consent if you are under 18
If you are enrolling on behalf of a minor (anyone under 18), you — as the parent or guardian — will be considered the primary account holder. You are responsible for providing consent, managing the account, monitoring your child’s activities on the platform, and ensuring their content does not include personally identifiable information without your express permission.
If you represent an organisation, institution, or company, you confirm that you have the authority and all necessary approvals to agree to these Terms on behalf of that entity.
We may, at our sole discretion, refuse to offer Services to any person or entity and may change eligibility criteria at any time.

- Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account
Your account is personal and non-transferable. The subscription or enrolment made in your name cannot be transferred to or used by another person.

We are not responsible for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account due to your failure to keep your credentials secure.

We’re building a community of learners, and we want it to be a safe, respectful, and positive space for everyone. As a student on Skill Banao, you agree to:

Here’s what you should know:
- You are solely responsible for any User Content you create or share

- If you are a minor’s parent/guardian, you are responsible for monitoring any User Content shared by your child
Group projects and assignments: Any work produced as part of cohort activities, group assignments, or guided projects during the course may be attributed to Skill Banao. You may showcase such work in your portfolio, but Skill Banao retains the right to use the work for marketing, educational, or promotional purposes.
Communications — Staying in Touch
Once you create an account or enrol in a program, you agree to receive communications from us, including:
- Transactional messages — enrolment confirmations, payment receipts, session reminders, assignment notifications
- Service updates — schedule changes, platform updates, new features
- Promotional messages — upcoming courses, webinars, events, and offers
These communications may be sent via email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and/or phone calls.
If you’d rather not receive promotional messages, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, messaging “STOP” on WhatsApp, or writing to us at info@skillbanao.com. However, you will continue to receive important transactional and service-related messages as long as your account is active.
Career Support — An Honest Disclaimer
We care about your career growth, and we offer meaningful support to help you get there, including:

However, let’s be upfront:
We do not guarantee job placement, a specific salary, or any particular career outcome. Hiring decisions are made by employers based on factors like your individual skills, portfolio quality, interview performance, market conditions, and other variables that are beyond our control.
Your success depends on the effort you put in. We’ll give you the tools, guidance, and support — but the results ultimately depend on you.
This isn’t a guarantee of employment — it’s a commitment to giving you the best possible preparation.
